The Kasilof River is a small glacier fed
river that contains a large run king
salmon. This small river is a "Drift boat"
only river. No motors are allowed on
the river, which makes it a very
peaceful place to sit and relax with the
family and friends waiting for a strike.
The King Salmon in this river average
15 to 30 pounds during the peak of the
season. With several fish in the 40 to 60
pound class caught every year.
